SUSPECT 1: April Hickerson, 32-year-old Female, Resident of Victorville
SUSPECT 2: 17-year-old Male, Resident of Apple Valley
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at about 4:27 p.m., deputies with the Apple Valley Station were notified of a theft. April Hickerson and a 17-year-old juvenile gathered approximately $650 worth of merchandise and passed all points of sale without paying for the items. As the suspects fled the business with the merchandise, Hickerson assaulted a loss prevention employee.
Deputies located the suspect vehicle as it drove through a business parking lot near the intersection of Apple Valley Road and Pimlico Road. Deputies conducted a traffic stop, and Hickerson and the juvenile were detained without incident.
All of the stolen property was recovered.
Hickerson was booked at the High Desert Detention Center for PC 211 – Robbery and is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail. The juvenile was cited and released to a guardian.
