Weekend Forecast

• Friday: Mostly cloudy and windy, with a 40–50% chance of showers. North winds around 30 mph, with gusts up to 45 mph overnight. High near 67°F.
• Saturday: Mostly cloudy and windy. Showers are likely, mainly in the afternoon. High near 67°F.
• Sunday: Mostly cloudy, with a 50% chance of showers. High near 68°F.

Coastal Advisories (National Weather Service)

• High Surf Advisory: In effect until 2:00 PM Saturday. Breaking waves of up to 11 feet are expected.
• Rip Current Risk: High through Saturday evening. Swimming is strongly discouraged.
• Coastal Flood Advisory: In effect until 2:00 AM Saturday. One to two feet of flooding is possible in low-lying areas near the shore, and some roads may be impassable.
• Lifeguards: Beaches are no longer staffed for the season.

Recommendations

• Stay out of the ocean and off jetties while the high surf and rip current warnings are in effect.
• Secure outdoor furniture and other loose items ahead of the strong winds.
