Smoke from the prescribed burn at Angel Island State Park has drifted towards the East Bay and is currently visible in parts of Richmond.
There is no emergency related to this operation.
California State Parks has informed that ignitions at Angel Island State Parks have been completed as of 2:15 PM. Residents can expect residual smoke to linger, but should be mostly tapering off.
