TREE PLANTING NOTICE – M-53
Washington Township DPW crews will be planting 46 trees along M-53 as part of our partnership with "Green Macomb" received through our planning consultant.
***Thursday, Sept. 24: 9 AM–5 PM — DPW preparing the area and digging planting holes and planting 26 Trees.
***Friday, Sept. 25: 9 AM–Noon — Tree planting, Open to Volunteers! Holes will be prepped for remaining 20 Trees.
Location: Southbound M-53, just north of 26 Mile Road, behind Washington Woods Subdivision.
Want to volunteer? Contact the Clerk’s Office at (586) 786-0010. Volunteers are welcome Friday from 9 AM–Noon.
Parking: Please park along Paul Drive within Washington Woods Subdivision. Do NOT park along M-53.
