Alert

Skagway! Be Bear Aware!

Bear activity has been reported within Skagway city limits. Stay alert, especially at night when bears are most active. Never leave trash or other bear attractants outside; securing them helps reduce bear activity and the risk that a bear may need to be dispatched. If you see a bear or signs of one, contact the Skagway Police Department at 907-983-2232.
