Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help in locating Jaisha Bonilla-Gonzalez, 30, who is wanted for questioning about a shooting that occurred on Saturday, August 29, 2026.
Police Officers responded to the 300 block of 7th Avenue after the ShotSpotter detection system picked up gunfire at approximately 7:41 p.m. When they arrived, officers canvassed the area and located 9 mm casings on the sidewalk.
Bonilla-Gonzalez, described as Hispanic woman, is 5’3” to 5’5” inches tall, weighs 195 to 220 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.
