Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection to a robbery incident following an investigation.
On September 15th at approximately 2:30 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the unit block of Gordon Street in reference to a robbery that occurred. During the course of the investigation officers identified a suspect vehicle. On September 18th, officers located the suspect vehicle in the 2300 block of North West Street, which was occupied with a male subject who matched the description of the suspect involved in the robbery. Officers conducted a vehicle stop and made contact with 42-year-old Arrin Pauls, who was taken into custody without incident.
Pauls has been charged with the following offenses:
- Assault (Second Degree)
- Robbery (Second Degree)
He was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court 20 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $8,000 secured-bail.
