INCIDENT: PC 245(A)(4) - Assault with Deadly Weapon (Not a Firearm) - Causing Possible Great Bodily Injury
LOCATION: 1900 Block of Desoto Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Amber Ramirez, 32-year-old Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at about 6:11 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a report of a disturbance near the 1900 block of Desoto Street, in Needles. Upon arrival, deputies located the victim who had been physically assaulted. The victim declined medical care at the scene.
During the investigation, deputies identified Amber Ramirez as the suspect. Ramirez was arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Ramirez remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department on $40,000.00 bail, pending a court hearing.
