Beverly Hills, Calif. – On September 21, 2026, multiple incidents of vandalism were discovered in Beverly Hills. During the investigation, Beverly Hills Police Department (BHPD) detectives identified 63-year-old Alfred Poirier of Santa Clarita as a suspect. Poirier is a former employee of the Beverly Hills Fire Department.
Poirier was arrested on suspicion of stalking, in violation of California Penal Code § 646.9, and vandalism, in violation of California Penal Code § 594. He was booked at the Beverly Hills Police Department and released on a $150,000.00 bond. Poirier is scheduled to appear on November 22, 2026, at the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, Airport Courthouse – 11701 South La Cienega Blvd.
BHPD Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding these incidents, but preliminary information indicates that Poirier posted computer-generated images at various city facilities on multiple occasions.
