LOCATION: 15000 block of Nisqualli Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Joshua Farr, 44-year-old Resident of Adelanto
VICTIM(S): Female Adult
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at about 10:51 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Station responded to a gas station in the 15000 block of Nisqualli Road for a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.
During the investigation, deputies learned the victim’s ex-boyfriend, Joshua Farr, had concealed himself in the trunk of the victim’s vehicle. The victim was driving and when she stopped at a traffic light, Farr exited the trunk and entered the front passenger compartment, where he held a knife to the victim.
The victim was able to stop and park at a gas station and exit the vehicle. Farr chased the victim before fleeing to his vehicle which was parked about a mile away.
With the assistance of San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department's Aviation Division, deputies located Farr in the vehicle in the area of Mojave Road and El Evado Road. Farr was detained without incident.
Joshua Farr was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto for, P.C. 245(A)(1) – Assault with a Deadly Weapon, P.C. 236 – False Imprisonment, P.C. 273.5(A) – Corporal Injury to a Spouse or Cohabitant, and P.C. 422(A) – Criminal Threats.
