A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect for certain coastal areas in New York City from 9/25 to 9/27. New Yorkers living in basement apartments are reminded to be prepared to move to higher ground or a higher floor if flooding occurs. STAY OUT of flooded basements. Call 311 if you encounter flooding that makes roads impassable, damages property, or persists for more than 48 hours.
