Beginning on Monday, September 28, 2026, Church Road between Country Club Road and William Penn Highway will be closed to southbound traffic for a long-term construction project (road reconstruction and paving). The closure will last until approximately December 23, 2026. See the attached image for the closure and detour route.
Northbound traffic will be permitted throughout the construction project. Motorists traveling north are asked to reduce speeds and drive with care through the active work zone.
Detours will be in place. The detour route utilizes Country Club, Green Pond, and Farmersville Roads in Bethlehem Township. Following the detour route from points north will bring you to the Easton Avenue / Farmersville Road traffic signal. If commuting to Notre Dame High School, anticipate extended travel times.
Phase two of this project will be a final paving of the roadway expected in the spring/summer of 2027.
