MAJOR coastal flooding is POSSIBLE with this weekends storm.
To our residents in flood prone, low-lying areas please be prepared for the possibility of MAJOR flooding with the Friday and Saturday high tide cycles.
The last time Major flooding occurred was during Hurricane Erin in 2025.
High tide at Sunset Lake is expected around 8pm this evening , and 8:30am Saturday morning.
Please ensure you move your vehicles from the low lying areas prior the high tide cycles and do not drive through flood waters.
Note: the exact track of the system and wind direction can make a significant difference to our local impacts.
