Starting October 19, 2026, the City of Lockport will be switching to Smart911 for emergency and community alert notifications. We will be providing this service in partnership with Will County.
If you are currently signed up for local emergency alerts through Nixle, you will need to register through Smart911 to continue to receive these and other community alerts.
