A section of the Anacostia River Trail near Colmar Manor, opposite Bladensburg Waterfront Park and near the pedestrian and bike bridge, will be temporarily narrowed beginning Monday, September 28, 2026.
The trail will remain open, but one lane will be closed and the trail will be narrowed to approximately 10 feet to provide a safety buffer for levee repair work.
Work is expected to continue through the end of November. Please use caution and follow posted signs when traveling through the area.
