1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (1243) 100 Block of East Jefferson Street, Seaport District
The female victim, 62, was inside a residence in the listed area when the known suspect began vandalizing property. When the victim tried to intervene, the suspect retrieved a knife and lunged at the victim. The suspect was arrested without incident. The victim was uninjured. ARRESTED: Yesenia Rodriguez, 36, for assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism.
2. Pursuit Arrest (1502) Ridge River Avenue and Henry Long Boulevard, Seaport District
Officers attempted a traffic enforcement stop in the listed area. The driver failed to yield, leading officers on a brief pursuit. The pursuit concluded when the driver yielded and surrendered. ARRESTED: Lamont
Jackson, 56, for pursuit charges.
3. Weapon Arrest (1901) Yellowstone Avenue and Burkett Avenue, Park District
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop in the listed area. The vehicle was found to have false license plates. A search of the vehicle revealed that the suspect was in unlawful possession of a firearm. ARRESTED: Maurice Smith, 28, for weapon and traffic charges.
4. Robbery (2027) 7800 Block of West Lane, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 25, was working at a business in the listed area when he confronted the suspects for shoplifting merchandise. One of the suspects reached into his waistband and threatened the victim. The suspects fled on foot with the merchandise. SUSPECTS: Two Black male adults.
