Special Weather Statement until 09:00PM

At 829 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from near Hayden to 11 miles northeast of Logan, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Nara Visa and Amistad.

Instructions:

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
