⚠️ FLOODED ROADWAYS – TRAVEL ADVISORY ⚠️ The Ocean Township Police Department is advising residents that roadway conditions throughout town are continuing to deteriorate as flooding increases. Please DO NOT drive through flooded roadways unless absolutely necessary. Water depth can be difficult to determine, and conditions can change quickly. We are also asking everyone to be mindful of our residents and their property. DO NOT create wakes when driving through standing or flooded water. Vehicle wakes can push water onto neighboring properties, into homes, and against vehicles, causing additional damage to our residents. If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an alternate route. Do not take unnecessary risks.
