The National Weather Service, NYC Office has extended a Wind Advisory until noon on Sunday, September 27th for Roselle.
The Roselle Office of Emergency Management (OEM), along with Union County and New Jersey State Police OEM, are working together to monitor this weather event.
An approaching coastal storm, currently 200 miles east of Virginia, is predicted to bring wind gusts of at least 45 mph and rainfall for the next 24 hours as it travels north and west.
Use the current break from rain and daylight to secure loose outdoor objects. Charge electronic devices in case power outages occur.
Moderate bands of rain are forecasted overnight with up to 2" anywhere in northeastern NJ. This can cause local flooding to prone areas.
