Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help identifying three male suspects pictured below, who robbed a parking lot attendant on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
The attendant, an employee of J&L Parking, was approached by the suspects, who entered the lot at approximately 4:47 a.m. in a white Hyundai Sonata bearing NJ registration D57WZM. After parking in front of the attendant’s booth on Bruen Street near Edison Place, suspect #1 walked over and asked to use his phone charger.
When the attendant didn’t have one, the suspect, wearing a black jacket, dark gray sweatpants, and black sneakers, reached into the attendant’s pocket, removed parking lot keys, and threw them to the ground.
Suspect #2, who was wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, a white mask, and black sneakers, picked up the keys. Suspect #1 and suspect #3, who was wearing light blue jeans, a black jacket, and black sneakers, grabbed the attendant by his hoodie and pulled him from the booth. Suspect #2 ransacked the booth and took a small amount of money. The attendant escaped, and the three men fled southbound on Bruen Street in the Hyundai.
