Mayor’s Office Hours Tuesday, Sept. 29 

A few appointments are still available for Mayor Emily B. Jabbour’s Office Hours on Tuesday, Sept. 29, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the community room at ResilienCity Park, near 12th and Adams Streets. Mayoral Office Hours aim to provide residents with an opportunity to ask questions and share concerns.  

Appointments are required and can be scheduled by emailing [email protected].  

Additional Meet the Mayor Office Hours will be held at different times and locations in the future, providing residents with continued opportunities to connect directly with Mayor Jabbour.   

Attend the virtual Rebuild by Design community meeting 

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Control (NJDEP) will present updates to the community on the construction status and progress of the Rebuild by Design - Hudson River on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. The virtual presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.

Come learn about Hoboken's trees

Join the City’s Arborist on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 6 p.m. for a Zoom community meeting to learn more about the City’s efforts to maintain and enhance Hoboken’s city-wide urban tree canopy in our parks and streets.  

Following a brief presentation on the City’s Community Forestry Management Plan update and an overview of the City’s shade tree ordinance and permits, residents will have an opportunity to provide comments and ask questions about how Hoboken manages shade trees to promote ecology and cooling.

River City Fair is Saturday, Oct. 3. 

The City of Hoboken’s River City Fair is back on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Pier A and Sinatra Drive from First Street and Fourth Street. The River City Fair is the city’s historic waterfront festival celebrating music, arts, culture, local businesses, food vendors, and community organizations. The City will have two stages of live music.

Join Coffee with a Cop on Oct. 16 

The City of Hoboken and the Hoboken Police Department invite residents to Coffee with a Cop on Friday, Oct. 16, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at Il Tavolo di Palmisano at 700 Clinton St. 

Residents can meet with HPD command staff and patrol officers and enjoy casual conversations in a comfortable setting. Coffee will be served.
