INCIDENT: VC 10851(a) – Vehicle Theft
LOCATION: 15000 block of Placida Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Jack Seebert, 31-year-old, Resident of Jurupa Valley
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at approximately 11:30 a.m., deputies from Victorville Station responded to the 15000 block of Placida Road regarding the theft of a 1999 Ford F-250.
Shortly after the vehicle was reported stolen, deputies utilized Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) technology to assist in locating the stolen vehicle. ALPR cameras detected the Ford F-250 in the area of Roy Rogers Drive and Civic Drive, providing deputies with a recent location and direction of travel.
Deputies continued their investigation and utilized additional ALPR detections to track the vehicle’s movements. The stolen Ford F-250 was subsequently located in the area of Seneca Road and Hesperia Road. The vehicle was being driven by 31-year-old Jack Seebert, a resident of Jurupa Valley.
Jack Seebert was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto for, VC 10851(a) – Vehicle Theft.
Approximately 20 minutes elapsed from the time the vehicle was reported stolen to the time deputies located and recovered it. The rapid recovery demonstrates how ALPR technology can provide deputies with timely, actionable information to assist in locating stolen vehicles and identifying suspects.
