FFWEWX The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Northeastern Val Verde County in south central Texas...

* Until 800 AM CDT.

* At 316 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Juno, Devils River State Nat Area Del Norte and Bakers Crossing. The latest round of thunderstorms is moving over an area that received 3 to 4 inches of rain early Wednesday morning and another 1 to 2 inches of rain that fell late Wednesday Evening. This next round of rain will likely result in almost immediate flooding.

* AFFECTED AREAS: VAL VERDE, TX
