Otsego Street Renovation Project: Beginning Friday, October 2, construction crews will work from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays between Aiken Avenue and the Railroad Crossing. During these hours,
Otsego Street will be closed to through traffic. Local residents in this area will be permitted access to their driveways.
Residents affected by the construction are encouraged to use off-site town parking at Trego Field on Martino Way or at Town Hall. Private driveways will remain accessible; however, parking will be prohibited on or along Otsego Street within the construction zone. Vehicles parked in the area will be towed at the owner's expense.
Trash and Recycling Collection will occur as is, with totes being collected from Otsego Street.
BROAD STREET RESIDENTS: To reduce local traffic on Otsego Street and accommodate Broad Street residents who use the parking areas behind their homes, Gerry Perry Way will be converted to two-way traffic. Signs indicating that two-way traffic is permitted will be installed at both ends of Gerry Perry Way.
Construction is expected to last two to three weeks. Residents are encouraged to register for the town's alert system(Nixle) at www.perryvillemd.org.
Project updates will be shared on the town's Facebook page, through the Nixle Alert System, and on the town website.
