* WHAT...Flooding caused by torrential downpours continues.

* WHERE...Southeastern Cook County in northeastern Illinois... Northwestern Will County in northeastern Illinois...

* WHEN...Until 1015 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding is occurring in poor drainage such as ditches and fields. In addition, flooding is occurring on roadways with several inches of standing water near shoulders or portions of lanes. Due to falling leaves, storm drains and ditches may be clogged increasing the risk of flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 713 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated torrential downpours across the Advisory area, especially near Joliet, New Lenox, Homer Glen, Tinley Park, and the south side of Chicago. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Chicago, Joliet, Hammond, Bolingbrook, Orland Park, Tinley Park, Oak Lawn, Romeoville, Plainfield, Calumet City, Chicago Heights, Roseland, Lansing, Oak Forest, Harvey, Lockport, New Lenox, Homer Glen, Blue Island, Dolton, Homewood, Alsip and Matteson. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
