Join us Sunday, October 4, from 12 PM–3 PM for our Annual Washington Township Fire Station #1 Open House!
Bring the entire family for an afternoon of fun, learning, and fire-safety activities!
Activities include:
*Explore Washington Township Fire Station #1 on 11300 27 Mile Road.
*Learn and see different life-saving techniques
*Get an up-close look at how firefighters operate a fire hose
*See our fire department drone in action
*Explore fire safety equipment and first-responder apparatus
*Tour the emergency vehicles
* Learn important fire-safety tips for your family
*Bounce houses for the kids!
*Hot dogs, Popcorn, Donuts, Refreshments!!!
***PARKING & SHUTTLE SERVICE***
Parking at the fire station is limited, so we strongly recommend parking at Debbie’s Dollar at 27 Mile Road & Van Dyke Road.
Thanks to STAR Transportation through the Romeo-Washington-Bruce Parks & Recreation Department, shuttle buses will run FREE continuously from 12 PM–3 PM, bringing residents back and forth between Debbie’s Dollar and the fire station.
This will help make parking easier and allow everyone to enjoy the event without worrying about finding a parking spot.
