River City Fair is tomorrow!
Come to River City Fair tomorrow, Oct. 3, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Pier A and Sinatra Drive from First Street to Fourth Street.
The River City Fair is the city’s historic waterfront festival celebrating music, arts, culture, local businesses, food vendors, and community organizations. The City will have two stages of live music.

Art Month festivities & programs announced
The City of Hoboken and Hoboken Business Alliance have partnered once again to celebrate Art Month with local programs, art classes, pop-up live musical performances, the artist studio tour and more.

Deadline extended to join citywide gate sale!
Residents can still register to sell gently used goods at the Hoboken Gate Sale on Saturday, Oct. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The deadline to register has been extended to Oct. 9.
Residents are encouraged to sign up to sell gently used items from their stoops, gates, or at Church Square Park, helping reduce waste, cut greenhouse gas emissions, and support a more sustainable community.
This citywide event, hosted with the Hoboken Green Team, will give new life to secondhand goods and also connect neighbors through the promotion of environmentally responsible habits.
Participants who register will be featured on the official event map and included in citywide promotion, making it easy for shoppers to find your sale.

Take the Adams Street Design Survey
The City of Hoboken is planning improvements to Adams Street between Newark Street and Eighth Street as part of an upcoming roadway resurfacing project.
Community members are invited to take an online survey and provide feedback on their current use of Adams Street, what issues are most important to them, and their preferences on potential improvements. Survey results will help inform the design of the corridor.

The City will also host a public meeting later this fall to discuss the project and gather additional public feedback. Details will be announced in the coming weeks.
Provide feedback on Hoboken’s trees
Community members are invited to take a brief online survey and provide feedback on the City’s priorities for managing Hoboken’s tree canopy. Survey responses will inform the goals and actions included in the Community Forestry Management Plan update.

Join the Ragamuffin Parade on Halloween!
Celebrate Halloween with the annual City of Hoboken Ragamuffin Parade, on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 2:30 p.m. The lineup will begin at 2 p.m., at the intersection of 10th and Washington Streets.
The parade, which will feature art student’s puppets, floats, and more, will head down Washington Street to Fifth Street.
The parade will end on Fifth Street with pop up activities sponsored by Hi-Chew.
Road closures and traffic detours will be announced in the coming days.
