The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Unalaska and Nikolski from 4 AM to 10 PM AKDT Sunday, October 4.
West to southwest winds of 30–40 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph, are expected. Strongest gusts in Unalaska are expected Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening.
Gusty winds may blow around unsecured objects, cause a few power outages, and make travel difficult.
PREPARE NOW: Secure outdoor objects and use caution when traveling, particularly during periods of strongest winds.
Winds are expected to diminish Sunday evening.
