INCIDENT: Fatal Traffic Collision

TIME: Approximately 6:53 a.m.
LOCATION: 22600 Block of Pacific Coast Highway
UNIT: Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Traffic Investigators are investigating a fatal traffic collision involving four vehicles that occurred on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, at approximately 6:53 a.m. The collision occurred near 22600Pacific Coast Highway.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a juvenile male was driving a gray Range Rover SUV eastbound on Pacific Coast Highway in the number two lane. As the vehicle neared the location, it struck a parked vehicle on the eastbound shoulder of the roadway. The occupant of the parked vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. Preliminary investigation showed no signs of driving under the influence by the driver. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
