The City of Corcoran Public Works Department will be conducting scheduled road maintenance on Whitley Avenue beginning Tuesday, October 6 through Sunday, October 11, 2026.
TEMPORARY CLOSURES: OCTOBER 6th–9th
Beginning Tuesday, October 6th, from 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, crews will be grinding existing striping on Whitley Avenue daily and ending Friday, October 9th. Sections of Whitley Avenue will be temporarily closed as crews work through each area.
Each section will be reopened throughout the day as work is completed. Please expect temporary traffic delays and use caution when traveling through the area.
FULL CLOSURE – OCTOBER 10th–11th
Following the striping removal, Whitley Avenue between Otis Avenue and Dairy Avenue will be FULLY CLOSED on Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11 for scheduled road maintenance. Please use alternate routes, allow additional travel time, and follow all posted traffic control and detour signs. Businesses in the area are encouraged to notify customers and employees, coordinate deliveries in advance, and plan for temporary access restrictions. Please do not move barricades or enter closed areas.
