MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2026:

1:38 AM Officer Shaffer responded to an attempted catalytic converter theft reported near Central Ave & Newark Blvd.

7:05 AM Officer Birkeland responded to a vehicle burglary reported near Surf Way and Cape Breeze Dr. A 27-year-old male was arrested in connection to the burglary and additional mail theft. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail.

11:00 AM Officer Diaz-Perez responded to a residential burglary reported near Cabernet Ave and Tozier St. A 51-year-old female was arrested and transported to Santa Rita Jail.

3:34 PM Community Service Officer (CSO) Lau investigated a catalytic converter theft reported near Moores Ave & Wintergreen Dr.

3:50 PM Officer Diaz-Perez recovered a stolen vehicle on Mowry Ave.

3:54 PM CSO Lau investigated a catalytic converter theft reported near Central Ave & Central Ct.

5:48 PM Officer Berlanga investigated a theft reported near Birkdale Dr & Brandywine St.

9:38 PM Officer Norvell responded to an animal bite incident near Thornton Ave & Spruce St.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2026:

6:55 AM Officer Vuong investigated a child abuse report near Spruce St & Mayhews Landing Rd.

8:17 AM Officer Heckman investigated an attempted vehicle theft reported near Dalewood & Ruschin Drives.

10:21 AM Officer Vuong arrested a 24-year-old male for an outstanding warrant. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2026:

5:40 AM Officer Pacheco investigated a commercial burglary reported near Newark Blvd and Jarvis Ave. Loss is currently unknown.

11:17 AM Officer C. Torres responded to a report of a person down near Central Ave & Timber St. A 38-year-old female was cited for possession of narcotics.

1:21 PM Officer Orozco responded to a suspicious circumstance reported near Newark Blvd & Thornton Ave.

5:42 PM Officer Heckman investigated a theft from a vehicle reported near Magnolia St & Graham Ave. A wallet and other personal items were taken.

6:26 PM Officer Lor investigated a fraudulent use of a credit card reported on Newpark Mall Rd.

8:35 PM Officer Heckman investigated a residential burglary reported near Truckee Ct & Levi St.

9:13 PM Officer Vuong conducted a traffic enforcement stop near Newark & Cedar Boulevards. A 24-year-old male was cited for driving on a suspended license.

9:49 PM Officer Vuong conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle with expired registration near Mowry Ave & Cedar Blvd. A 35-year-old male was cited for possession of a controlled substance.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2026:

6:59 AM Officer Felix conducted a traffic stop near Cherry St & Smith Ave. A 41-year-old male was cited for an outstanding warrant. 

8:34 AM Officer Shaffer conducted a warrant service near Cedar Blvd & Cedar Ct. A 38-year-old male and a 44-year-old female were arrested for possession of narcotics and an outstanding felony warrant. Both were transported to Santa Rita Jail.

9:06 AM Officer Orozco responded to an unwanted person reported near Cabernet Ave & Tozier St. A 51-year-old female was arrested and transported to Santa Rita Jail for a restraining order violation. 

11:16 AM Officer Pacheco responded to a report of an intoxicated person near Thornton Ave & Cedar Blvd. A 36-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting and resisting arrest. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.

1:44 PM Officer C. Torres responded to a suspicious person reported near Spruce St & Wells Ave.  A 27-year-old male was located in possession of narcotics and violation of probation. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.

3:02 PM Traffic Officer Kapu located a vehicle that had an active seizure warrant near Cherry St & Clark Ave. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

6:59 PM Officer Vuong conducted a pedestrian stop near Stevenson Blvd & Balentine Dr. A 44-year-old male was arrested for possession of narcotics. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail. 

8:43 PM Officer Lor investigated a report of identity theft near Cedar Blvd & Joaquin Murieta Ave.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2026:

9:43 AM Officer Pacheco investigated a theft reported near Sandalwood St & Fernwood Dr. An E-bike was reported stolen from an open garage.

11:11 AM Officer Orozco conducted a warrant service near Thornton Ave & Cedar Blvd. A 46-year-old male was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, and multiple outstanding warrants. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.

11:18 AM Officer Felix investigated a report of elder abuse near Spruce St & Jarvis Ave.

7:53 PM Officer Shaffer initiated a traffic enforcement stop near Mowry Ave & Cedar Blvd. A 58-year-old male was cited for driving on a suspended license.

9:10 PM Officer Vuong conducted a traffic enforcement stop near Newark Blvd & Jarvis Ave. A 20-year-old male was cited for traveling at an unsafe speed.

11:29 PM Officer Vuong responded to a domestic disturbance reported near Ashbourne Ct & Lake Ave.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2026:

1:16 AM Officer Stevenson investigated a stolen license plate near Edgewater & Chelesa Drives.

1:19 AM While conducting a security check near Thornton Ave & Ruschin Dr., Officer Germano arrested a 39-year-old male for an outstanding warrant. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.

1:45 AM Officer Shaffer investigated a report of a stolen vehicle near Bellflower Dr & Birch St.

5:15 AM Officer Vuong conducted a welfare check near Croydon Pl & Edgewater Dr.

11:01 AM Officer Diaz-Perez investigated a theft of tires near Sycamore St & Thornton Ave.

4:27 PM Officer Birkeland investigated a license plate theft reported near Wakecrest Wy & Seafarer Rd.

5:18 PM Officer Jackman responded to a theft of tires reported near Civic Terrace Ave & Newark Blvd.

6:35 PM Officer Shaffer conducted a warrant service on Joaquin Murieta Ave. A 36-year-old female was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2026:

1:54 AM Officer Kim investigated a theft report near Olive St & Thornton Ave.

7:28 AM Officer Diaz-Perez investigated a report of criminal threats near Madelaine Dr & Brittany Ave.

11:30 AM Officers responded to a disturbance reported near Newark Blvd & Dumbarton Ct. A 36-year-old female was arrested for battery, possession of narcotics, and violation of probation. She was booked into Santa Rita Jail.

12:42 PM Officer Diaz-Perez investigated a residential burglary reported near Madelaine Dr & Brittany Ave.

10:40 PM Officers responded to a noise disturbance near Ash St & Wells Ave. A 25-year-old male was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and violation of probation. A 24-year-old female was arrested for providing false identification and public intoxication. Both were transported to Santa Rita Jail.
