INCIDENT: PC 594(a)(2) - Felony Vandalism - Damage Property
LOCATION: 148000 Block of Flasher Rd., Havasu Lake, CA
SUSPECT(S): Ronald Jones, 69-Years Old, Resident of Havasu Lake, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at approximately 10:11 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a call for service reporting a vandalism near the 148000 block of Flasher Road in the community of Havasu Lake.
Upon arrival, deputies contacted 69-year-old Ronald Jones and conducted an investigation. During the investigation, deputies determined that Jones had damaged the victim's Bobcat skid-steer loader by striking a telephone pole and driving it into a ditch.
Ronald Jones was subsequently arrested on the above mentioned charges and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Jones remains in custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $30,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
