INCIDENT: H&S 11359 – Possession of Marijuana for Sales
LOCATION: Lorene Drive and Seventh Street, Victorville
15000 block of Papago Place, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Christopher Borja, 26-years-old, Resident of Victorville
Jiovanny Borja, 32-years-old, Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at approximately 8:38 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Station conducted a traffic stop on a white Kia Optima in the area of Lorene Drive and Seventh Street for California vehicle code violations.
The driver, identified as Christopher Borja, was contacted by deputies. During the investigation, deputies suspected Borja of driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance. A search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of marijuana, psychedelic mushrooms, and items consistent with drug sales. Borja was detained without incident.
The investigation subsequently resulted in the service of a search warrant for a residence in the 15000 block of Papago Place in Victorville. Jiovanny Borja was contacted at the residence and detained without incident. Deputies located marijuana, currency, and drug paraphernalia inside the residence.
The search warrant was served with assistance from the Victorville Station’s Tactical Unmanned Aerial System (UAS), drone. During the search warrant deputies utilized the UAS drone, which is used to enhance officer safety in addition to helping protect the safety and well-being of our community.
Christopher Borja was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto for, H&S 11378 – Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale, H&S 11359(B) – Possession of Marijuana for Sale, PC 148.9(A) – Giving False Identification to a Police Officer, VC 23152(A) – Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, and VC 23152(F) – Driving Under the Influence of Drugs.
Jiovanny Borja was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto for, H&S 11378 – Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale, and H&S 11359(B) – Possession of Marijuana for Sale.
