The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Unalaska from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday.
South winds of 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 55 mph are expected. Gusty winds may blow around unsecured objects and could result in a few power outages.
Residents are encouraged to secure loose outdoor items and use caution while traveling.
