Detective Adam Burnette with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 36-year-old Sammy Lee Hensley of Nebo with felony Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle. He was issued a secured bond of $10,000.
On August 29, deputies responded to a Nebo residence after a report of a breaking and entering.
The caller stated that while away from the home for several days, two Yamaha bikes had been removed, a 1987 YSR 50 and a 1976 YZ 80. Also removed was a Moultrie Edge trail camera and keys to a Bobcat mini skid.
Hensley was found to be in possession of one of the bikes after an investigation by Det. Burnette.
