The Hoboken Police Department continues to ask residents to avoid the area of Hoboken High School for an ongoing police investigation into a called-in potential threat.
Out of an abundance of caution, Hoboken High School, Bandt Elementary School, and Wallace Elementary School are in lockdown. All students are being kept inside.
Once the police investigation concludes, schools will be dismissed and impacted streets will reopen.
Streets are currently closed from 7th Street to 10th Street and Willow Avenue to Adams Street.
Updates will follow as information becomes available.
