Parent Arrested on School Campus in Needles for Causing Disturbance

LOCATION: 1600 Block of Washington Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Elexis Bone, 37-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA

SUMMARY: On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at about 11:51 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to the 1600 block of Washington Street involving a parent on school grounds causing a disturbance.
Upon arrival, deputies learned Elexis Bone, the parent of a student at the school, had entered a classroom while attempting to locate her child. Bone was advised her child was not present in the classroom. Bone became irate and began yelling at the teacher. During the disturbance, Bone made bodily movements toward the teacher, causing the teacher to believe Bone was going to assault her. Deputies detained Bone at the scene while they conducted an investigation into the incident.
Following the investigation, Bone was arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Bone was later issued a citation and released from the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a future court date.
