Deputies Investigating a Stabbing Arrest Adelanto Man for Attempted Murder

INCIDENT: P.C. 664/187(a) – Attempted Murder, P.C. 3056 – Parole Violation
LOCATION: 15000 block of Palmdale Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Daniel Hernandez, 37-years-old, Resident of Adelanto
VICTIM(S): Adult male
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at about 11:50 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Station responded to the 15000 block of Palmdale Road regarding a reported stabbing.
The preliminary investigation determined the victim and a male subject, later identified as Daniel Hernandez, were engaged in a conversation near the alley in the 14000 block of Palmdale Road. Hernandez became upset and brandished a knife approximately 12 inches in length. Hernandez stabbed the victim once in the upper left portion of his body before leaving the area.
The victim walked to a nearby convenience store and requested assistance. The victim was transported by CONFIRE EMS to a local hospital for medical treatment.
Detectives from the Victorville Station assumed the investigation. With the assistance of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Hernandez was located and taken into custody.
Daniel Hernandez was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto for P.C. 664/187 – Attempted Murder, and P.C. 3056 – Parole Violation.
