Municipal offices closed Monday
Municipal offices will be closed on Monday, Oct. 12, for the holiday. They will reopen on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
Street cleaning will be suspended on Monday. All parking regulations will remain in effect. Waste collection will occur as scheduled.
The Hop shuttle service is suspended on Monday. It will resume on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
Drop off hazardous waste Saturday, Oct. 10, for disposal
The Hudson County Improvement Authority will collect household hazardous waste, e-waste, and tires, on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hoboken DPW, 1500 Madison St, for disposal.
Come to open gym Monday
The City will host open gym hours on Monday, Oct. 12, for Hoboken youth at the Damon Murray Community Gym located at 605 Jackson St. Open gym will occur from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Open gym aims to offer Hoboken children and teens under the age of 18 free access to the indoor gym space for recreational basketball in a safe, supportive, and fun environment.
Registration is not required to participate. All participants must bring their own basketballs, as the City will not be providing equipment. Please note, children must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.
