CITY OF NEW PORT RICHEY – SANDBAG OPERATIONS EXTENDED THROUGH THE WEEKEND 
NEW PORT RICHEY, FLORIDA – Due to the significant rainfall our area has already experienced and the potential for additional heavy rain and thunderstorms, the City of New Port Richey will continue sandbag operations for City residents throughout the weekend, Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sandbag Distribution Location and Hours:
Saturday, October 10 & Sunday, October 11
7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Sandbags and Sand: Adjacent to the Robert M. Rivera Fleet Maintenance Facility – 6420 Pine Hill Road, New Port Richey, FL.
Please note: Dates and times are subject to change based on weather conditions.
What to Bring:

Proof of City residency (e.g., utility bill or government-issued ID)

Shovels will not be provided – this is a self-service site

Limit: 10 free sandbags per household
