Bear Valley Road Closure Extended Through October 23 
The full road closure on Bear Valley Road has been extended by one week.
Both lanes of Bear Valley Road will remain closed just inside the main gate from October 12 through October 23 as part of the next phase of the Bear Valley Road Rehabilitation Project. The closure will be in effect outside of normal construction hours.
Traffic will be detoured onto the frontage roads. Please see the attached map for detour routes.
Starting October 14, intermittent daytime lane closures will also occur on Bear Valley Road. Please expect delays and drive slowly and cautiously through all construction areas.
The Bear Valley Road Rehabilitation Project is a major infrastructure project that will continue over several months. The $9.4 million project includes the complete reconstruction of Bear Valley Road from the entry gate to Oakflat Drive and from Bay Court to Martingale Way.
The project also includes replacing water pipes beneath the roadway. Costs will be split between the CSD’s Roads Division Fund and Water Enterprise Fund.
