Town Hall has received reports of a gas-like odor coming from portions of the sewer system. Virginia Department of Emergency Management, Carroll County Emergency Management, and Department of Environmental Quality are working together with our staff to find the source.

"There is no imminent danger or immediate need to evacuate. We are all actively working together on a solution and will keep everyone updated" said Carroll County Emergency Management Coordinator, Jason Felts. The sewer lines are currently being flushed and our staff is working hard to ventilate the lines.
