Hi Lake Geneva Community!
We've been monitoring the recent repairs to the surfacing at the Veterans Park Playground and have noticed the repairs are taking like we were hoping.
We are having the installers come out again to redo the work and make sure it sticks this time. In the attached picture, you will see blue and teal surfacing with a slight gap between. That gap will cause accelerated wear and tear, something we want to avoid.
Because of that, we wanted to let you know the playground will be fenced off again tomorrow 10/16/2026 while the repairs take place and while the surface cures. We are committed to offering the community the very best and thank you for your patience while we have the necessary repairs made.
Cultivating Community,
David Winger
Parks Director
