On Saturday, October 17, 2026, between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., the No Kings March will take place in the downtown Petaluma area. Drivers should expect traffic delays starting around 11:00 a.m. Please plan accordingly and allow extra travel time.
We encoruage those looking to get downtown to carpool, rideshare, or take the SMART train.
We respect and support everyone's First Amendment right to peacefully protest. Our goal is to ensure that individuals can exercise those rights safely while maintaining the overall safety and quality of life in our community.
- Increased staffing and officer presence will be in place.
- Officers are prepared to respond quickly if needed.
- We are coordinating with regional law enforcement partners and actively monitoring events.
- Violence, vandalism, or other criminal activity will not be tolerated.
We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding.
