Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., reports the arrest of 12 individuals with outstanding warrants for violent offenses in the Newark Police Division’s September 2026 fugitive roundup.
“It is encouraging to see that September’s operation shows that fewer individuals with outstanding warrants had to be located by our Intelligence Division/Fugitive Section,” Director Miranda said. “I am hopeful that the news of this ongoing operation is resulting in more individuals turning themselves in before Police resources have to be expended in apprehending them.”
Each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. #newarknj #police
