From Cranford's Office of Emergency Management: A SHORT-LIVED GUSTY LINE OF DOWNPOURS / STORMS THIS EVENING
From Cranford's Office of Emergency Management:
A strong cold front moves through our area 6 - 9 PM later today. Within that window, downpours / storms only last on average roughly 30 minutes or less. When it does roll through, it'll increase winds and we likely see some 35 - 45 mph gusts which is enough for isolated tree / power line issues. The slowly lifting clouds today will likely limit the overall maximum severity of the storms, and any 50 mph plus potential is looking localized. After it blows through it'll be drier even if a spottier and generally lighter shower remains possible. We stay gusty area-wide tonight and tomorrow thanks to a much chillier air-mass blowing down from Canada, setting up a very crisp weekend.
