On October 14, 2026, at approximately 6:44 p.m., Santa Clara Police Department (SCPD) officers responded to a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a motorcyclist with injuries on Stevens Creek Boulevard and Winchester Boulevard. The preliminary investigation indicates a Yamaha motorcycle struck a red Ford on Stevens Creek Boulevard. When first responders arrived, they located the adult male motorcyclist and performed life-saving measures. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
The deceased male driver of the Yamaha motorcycle was identified as a 19-year-old resident of Sunnyvale, California. His identity will be released by the Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner. The Ford driver was not injured. The investigation is ongoing.
