Village of New Richmond / Liberty Landing Grand Opening
Celebrating Liberty Landing in the Village of New Richmond!
Clermont County Commissioners joined state and local leaders Friday for the grand opening and ribbon cutting of Liberty Landing, a $13.4 million riverfront redevelopment project in the Village of New Richmond.
The celebration brought together Ohio Department of Development Director Lydia Mihalik, U.S. Congressman Dave Taylor, Adam Bird for Ohio State Representative and New Richmond Mayor Glen Ewing.
Funded through the State of Ohio's Appalachian Community Grant Program, Liberty Landing brings major improvements to New Richmond's waterfront, including an expanded Front Street, a marina, scenic overlooks of the Ohio River and a new brick plaza in the heart of downtown. The redevelopment also features decorative streetlights, landscaping, benches and outdoor seating, creating a welcoming space for residents and visitors to enjoy the Ohio River. This $13.4 million investment represents an exciting new chapter for New Richmond, helping attract visitors, support local businesses and create new opportunities for tourism and recreation.
