INCIDENT: PC 215(A) - Carjacking
LOCATION: 12000 block of Hesperia Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Allen Hodge, 47-years-old, Resident of San Bernardino
SUMMARY: On Sunday, October 18, 2026, at approximately 12:55 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Station responded to the 12000 block of Hesperia Road regarding a reported vehicle theft.
During the investigation, deputies determined that Allen Hodge entered the victim’s running vehicle. The victim held onto the steering wheel and told Hodge to exit the vehicle. Hodge refused and drove away with the victim still holding onto the vehicle. The victim was dragged by the vehicle and sustained injuries.
At approximately 12:58 p.m., Sheriffs Dispatch received a report of a reckless driver in the area of Hesperia Road and Green Tree Boulevard. The vehicle was described as matching the victim’s’ vehicle. Deputies located the unoccupied vehicle south of Hughes Road.
Hodge was subsequently located on Hughes Road riding an electric bicycle he had taken from a nearby residence. Hodge was detained, and the bicycle was returned to its owner.
Allen Hodge was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto for PC 215(A) – Carjacking.
