10/17 – 7:47 p.m. – Police responded to a domestic violence call in progress, in the 400 block of West Madison Street. Upon an initial investigation a male subject was taken into custody and transferred to the St. Clair County Jail. After completing the investigation, the report was submitted to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s – Domestic Violence Unit for consideration of charges. On October 19th the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office charged the defendant, Joshua D. Hubler, 52 of Millstadt, with the following:
Count 1: Aggravated Domestic Battery (Strangulation) – A Class 2 Criminal Felony.
Count 2: Domestic Battery – A Class “A” Criminal Misdemeanor.
